With Red Hat co-sponsoring and TrueCar graciously hosting, we had another great turnout for the LA DevOps and Cloud meetup group at the TrueCar Santa Monica offices on Thursday, January 16!
Keynote speaker Paul Schipitsch of TrueCar shared “TrueCar’s Journey to Continuous Integration (CI)” and highlighted many of the features of Buildkite which the TrueCar team is benefiting from since migrating away from their earlier Jenkins-based build approach.
Red Hat’s Jon Tomaszewski also joined us to discuss “Enterprise Container Orchestration with Red Hat”, looking at how larger organizations especially are benefiting from the new CoreOS-based architecture of OpenShift Container Platform 4.
Additionally, Bryan Vine of Wells Fargo did a technical deep dive on his team’s customized “Universal Windows Packaging Framework”.
